Day one I was so excited and wondered what the day would turn out to be, I had so many questions in my head. First we all left our bags on the ground while everyone formed a circle and played a game to introduce ourselves to the counselors. Also, right after the game we found out of groups for the whole trip and who our counselors would be, mine was Max. After everyone got to there room and all their stuff organized we went on our first trip. My group when to a amazing waterfall and sketched it while we did that our counselor told us a story about hemlocks that Mr. Wolner told him. After the story we started to head back to the cabin so we could have dinner. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs, and it was good! After dinner my group didn’t fall asleep until 12am!

On day 1 Humans changed the environment by putting a fence on the edge of the falls so people don’t fall off. Also humans put the fire tower on Mt.Cardigan. The environment changes humans by having cold weather which makes us wear coats.
